Forum > DNS Server Providers > Topic DNS Server Providers ForumTechnology proposal: NextDNSrarington on 30 January 2025, 10 days ago Website: https://nextdns.io/ NextDNS is a customizable DNS service which lets you block security threats, unwanted content, and advertisements on a DNS level. They offer a fully functional free plan for limited use. The reason they should be added is that many people use it for blocking different types of websites. Sam Soltano (site administrator) on 1 February 2025, 8 days ago Thank you for that proposal. NextDNS primarily acts as a recursive resolver (DNS recursor), therefore websites don't use it as their DNS, so we can't include them in our surveys. rarington on 2 February 2025, 7 days ago Thanks for your reply.
