Forum > Content Management Systems > Topic Content Management Systems ForumTechnology proposal: Yoast SEOJoost de Valk on 7 January 2019, 7 years ago Yoast SEO is a plugin/extension available for WordPress, Magento, TYPO3 and soon more CMSes, used to optimize sites for search engine findability and for sharing on social networks. It currently runs on millions of websites, with the VAST majority (like, 99%) of those sites being WordPress sites. Disclosure: I'm the founder & CEO of Yoast. Sam Soltano (site administrator) on 9 January 2019, 7 years ago Hi Joost, Thank you for that proposal. We do monitor WordPress plugins that provide significant functionality of a CMS. While we appreciate that SEO is a very important aspect to consider when building a website, we see this functionality a bit outside of our CMS scope. We might relax our criteria in the future, and then Yoast will certainly be one of the first plugins to consider for inclusion. You need to be logged in to reply. |
