Hello,

how is the data for the market share of analytics tools collected?

I also noticed that the sum of percentages does not equal 100% how come? Do I misunderstand the table?

The data is collected by crawling the web and looking for patterns the reveal technology usage. See https://w3techs.com/faq for more information.

The sum of percentages is more than 100% because sites may use more than one analytics tool.
