Forum > Content Management Systems > Topic Content Management Systems Forume-commerce sectionrreboto on 11 June 2014, 11 years ago Hello, I am researching how popular the e-commerce website 3dCart is compared to Shopify, Squarespace, etc. These are bundled under "Content management systems", and as such, end up with 0.1% of the marketshare. It would be great to see an e-commerce section that only compares shopping cart websites like these to see how they fare against each other. Said differently, as a consumer, I wouldn't necessarily compare WordPress to Shopfiy for my online retail business; they, in a sense, serve different markets. Thanks! We are thinking about that too. The main problem is that very often, there is no clear line between these sub-categories.
