w3techs chrome extension - reg.

Why is that some websites do not display the server side language used, when using the w3techs chrome extension ?

for instance for this link: http://lowfatlinux.com/linux-columns-cut.html

its not giving the server side language used.

Hi Krishna,

We do detect the server-side language of most websites, but on some sites we are not sure enough to report any. Websites can - to some extend - hide the technology they use. We analyze each website using thousands of possible hints for technology usage, but sometime it is still not possible to draw sound conclusions.
