How well do you know your market? Find out who your most promising prospects are, and how they look like. Discover in which parts of the market your competition thrives.

Our technology market report is a detailed monthly report on the usage of social widgets on websites. The report comes via email as a PDF file and has over 2850 pages with hierarchical bookmarks that make it easy to navigate. It covers this information:

  • List of all social widgets
Which social widgets are covered? Shows a list of all 44 social widgets monitored for our surveys, together with a short description and a link to the website.
  • Usage and Market Share Report
How popular is each of the social widgets? Shows percentages of usage and market shares for all social widgets that we monitor. Also shows how much these figures changed compared to the last month and to the last year.
  • Historical Trend Report
How did the popularity of the social widgets change over time? Shows tables and diagrams of monthly trends of usage and market shares for all social widgets since January 2012.
  • Growth Rate Report
Which are the fastest growing social widgets? Shows the current growth rates in the usage of all social widgets both in absolute figures and percentages in the last month and in the last year.
  • New Site Usage Report

  • Top Site Usage Report
Which social widgets are primarily used by high traffic sites? Shows for each social widget the share of top sites among all the sites that use that specific social widget.
  • Change Report
Which percentage of sites switched between social widget? Shows for each social widget the percentages of websites that recently switched to or from another social widget as well as the top three social widgets that were involved in such changes.
  • List of up to 300 sites that switched between social widgets
Which popular sites changed their social widget? Shows the 300 most popular sites that switched from one social widget to another in the last month (if there are that many sites in a month). Also shows the involved social widgets.
  • List of sites that use specific social widgets
For each of the 44 social widgets: which popular sites use it, which sites started or stopped using it recently? Shows up to 50 popular sites that use a specific social widget, and up to 50 sites that started using it in the last month, and up to 50 sites that stopped using it in the last month (if there are that many sites in a month).
  • List of top sites that use none of the social widgets
Which popular sites don't use any social widget that we monitor? Shows the 300 most popular sites that do not use a social widget.
  • Market Position Report
Where in the market diagram are the social widgets? Shows the market position of the 30 most popular social widgets in terms of popularity and usage by high traffic sites.
  • Ranking Breakdown Report
Which social widgets are popular among high traffic sites? Shows usage and market shares and ranks of all social widgets among websites within popularity ranges of the Alexa ranking, that is among the top 1 million sites, the top 100,000, the top 10,000 and the top 1,000 sites.
