Web hosting providers ranked by average page speed

Detailed statistics in our extensive web hosting providers market report.

Learn more

This table shows average page speeds per web hosting provider. We show two measurements, obtained from Google's Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX).

  • Time to First Byte (TTFB) measures the time it takes to establish the connection to the web server until content starts to be served, see TTFB definition.
  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures the time starting from when a web page first starts loading up to the point when the largest image or text block becomes visible within the page, see LCB definition.

We include web hosting providers, for which we have at least 100 measurements, and calculate the average of these sites.

See technologies overview for further explanations on the methodologies used in the surveys.

Technology Brief
Web Hosting Providers
A web hosting service provides infrastructure to enable website owners to make their website accessible on the internet. We distinguish the web hosting provider, as the direct partner of the website owners, from the data center provider, who provides the hardware and networking infrastructure, and may or may not be the same as the hosting provider. We also separate reverse proxy services and CDN providers in a distinct category, as they typically do not provide hosting services.
We group brands, that are owned by the same entity, to show the real relevant market shares.

Web hosting information is partly based on data provided by ipinfo.io.
