Our historical performance trends report shows the monthly performance data in terms of page speed of all 493 top level domains for which we have sufficient performance data between January 2023 and today.

These reports show average page speeds per top level domain. We show two measurements, obtained from Google's Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX).

Time to First Byte (TTFB) measures the time it takes to establish the connection to the web server until content starts to be served, see TTFB definition.
Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures the time starting from when a web page first starts loading up to the point when the largest image or text block becomes visible within the page, see LCB definition.

We include top level domains, for which we have at least 100 measurements, and calculate the average of these sites.

The report comes as two CSV files (TTFB and LCP), ready for further processing or importing into Excel. The TTFB values are general more relevant for top level domains.

The reports consist of time series per top level domain (one row in the CSV files), showing the average TTFB respectively LCP values in each month. In total, the reports show 21,284 data points. Please note, that we permanently keep adding more top level domains to our surveys, therefore not all of them cover the entire time frame.
